We are blessed beyond measure to provide food for hungry children in food insecure homes throughout the boundaries of Canyon Independent School District! Our CISD community is large!!--encompassing over 732 square miles! Currently, we facilitate 23 schools--elementary age children all the way to seniors in High School--which includes 2 new locations within our boundaries, Amarillo Collegiate Academy --both Elementary (Intermediate and Jr High School) as well as their High School location. We added these schools in April of 2025. Coming off of a very busy summer school schedule, our fall enrollment continues to increase. With the addition of West Plains High School, Canyon ISD has now surpassed 11, 000 students, with over 34% of the district now qualifying for free and reduced meals. These increases have placed 1500+children participating in our program--every week. Inflation has had a tremendous effect on our grocery purchases and availability as we pray for provision and wisdom with each purchase. Our goal, however-- is to provide for every child and every family that has a need within the 23 schools currently facilitated by FILL WITH HOPE.
