"I used to blame my kids and my husband for how our family dynamic was at home until I began attending this parents' support group at Martha Root Community Building and realized I was the problem :). Since I began to take responsibility for my reactions and work on healing, the family dynamics started to change at home. Now we are beginning to communicate better, feel happier, and treat each other more compassionately," - Norma.

" I look forward to every Monday morning because it's the time of the week I can dedicate to myself, to breathe, to recharge, to share, to be heard, and to learn. I have two small kids, and I'm alone at home most of the time, feeling lonely and overwhelmed. I needed this space so badly," - Marissa.

"We can learn from just listening to other parents' struggles and how they manage to raise their children. It makes us feel that we are not alone, and it is so therapeutic to be here, and gives us hope and enthusiasm for life and helping others," - Carla.
