Faith City Mission

A nonprofit organization

Our History

Faith City Mission was founded on March 7th, 1951, by Dick and Bea Hogan. Their vision was to provide a safe place for the poor to receive food and shelter. As they assisted guests in getting back on their feet, some chose to join the staff, while others found hope and transformation. Above all, Dick and Bea's greatest desire was for everyone they encountered to experience the love of Jesus and commit their lives to Him.

Faith City Mission is a non-profit organization with the mission statement of "Feed, Clothe, Shelter, Spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and Disciple the least of these."

When individuals first arrive at Faith City Mission, they are often in the midst of a crisis. Many are experiencing homelessness, struggling with addiction to drugs and alcohol, or facing financial hardships, unable to provide enough food for their families despite having a job and a home. The reasons for seeking help vary, but the underlying truth is that each person is a human being in need of the basic necessities of life—shelter, food, clothing, and love. At Faith City, the mission is not just to provide immediate relief, but to offer a pathway out of crisis. The goal is to help these individuals transition from their difficult circumstances into a life of self-sufficiency, where they can not only survive, but thrive. By offering compassion, support, and practical resources, Faith City aims to empower people to rebuild their lives, find stability, and ultimately contribute positively to their communities.

Who We Are

Our Mission is to Feed the Homeless, Clothe the Naked, and Preach the Gospel.

Faith City Mission ministers to men, women, and children who have fallen on hard times. They are either homeless, battling addiction, or experiencing some type of poverty. Faith City Mission offers hope and restoration through many different ministries, such as food & clothing outreach, emergency shelter, Hope for Men & Hope for Women addiction discipleship programs, children’s ministry, and employment services. All of our programs have been well-planned and designed to help a person transition from crisis to stability, and in the end, have the ability to live on their own. In 2018, FCM served over 73,233 meals, provided 11,000 safe nights, celebrated 509 salvations, and celebrated 24 program graduates. Faith City’s mission is to transform the lives of those in need by breaking cycles of homelessness, addiction, and poverty in a Christ-centered environment.
