Our Mission:

The Dallam Hartley Counties Healthcare Foundation supports the Dallam Hartley Counties Hospital District healthcare services by advocating for healthcare services and raising funds to enhance programs, equipment, scholarships and facilities in and for the hospital district. 

Our Goal:

We are working to raise $500,000 to strengthen the future of healthcare and community support in our region. Of this goal, $20,000 will provide scholarships to support students pursuing healthcare careers—investing in the next generation of caregivers and medical professionals. The remaining funds will go toward our “More Than a Home” campaign, supporting the incredible $10 million gift from Gene and Louise Rahll to help make our new nursing home a reality. Every gift brings us closer to this vision—building a home for our loved ones today and preparing those who will care for us tomorrow.

John H. Cunningham, Sr. M.D. Memorial Scholarship

Funds raised from the community provide scholarships in memory of Dr. Cunningham to high school graduating seniors and eligible community members who are planning to pursue a career in healthcare.  33.3% of the students awarded the scholarship have worked for DHCHD or currently do.

Who We Are

Through The Panhandle Gives, we are raising funds to replace a vital piece of surgery equipment - a laparoscopic tower. This enables the surgeons to do non-invasive abdominal surgeries which has advantages over open-abdomen surgeries. This tower offers high definition screens so the surgeon sees with the highest technology available. This equipment can be used on all ages from children and teens to senior citizens.
