Colorful Closets is celebrating 10 years of clothing students!

Since 2016, we have provided clothing and confidence to more than 7800 students in our community.

Colorful Closets is a nonprofit organization dedicated to equipping children with mini-wardrobes filled with clothing that meets their needs, reflects their personality, and allows them to show up feeling confident and prepared. What began as a response to a clear need in our schools has grown into a coordinated effort to collect, organize, and distribute clothing across the Amarillo and Canyon areas; students with dignity, care, and joy.

Colorful Closets truly believes that WE, as a community, are the body of Christ. Through your help, GOD IS WORKING! We are the hands and feet of Jesus! Let us ALL come together, in love, to spread peace and kindness.

The beauty truly is in the details. Success in this program is being expressed through thankful messages from mothers/parents, guardians, counselors, and children. Needs that previously were not being met are being satisfied, and the residual effects of meeting these basic needs mean children in our schools are accomplishing more, feeling valued, and their families are experiencing needed support as well.

Our vision is that no family with school-aged children would go without access to necessary clothing and hygiene needs. The ripple effect of meeting these needs is that the recipients who feel respected and valued will then BE THE THREAD OF CHANGE themselves.
