Every night, across the Texas Panhandle, thousands of community cats live unseen—fighting to survive, raising litter after litter, and facing injury, illness, and hardship without help.

Shadow Cats 806 exists to change that.

Through our Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program, we humanely trap outdoor cats, provide life-saving spay/neuter surgery and vaccinations, and return them to the place they know as home—no longer contributing to the cycle of overpopulation. The result is fewer kittens born into suffering, healthier cats, and quieter, more stable communities.

We are proud to be the first nonprofit in the Texas Panhandle dedicated solely to the care of community cats—stepping in where no one else has, and giving these animals the compassion they’ve always deserved.

But this work is bigger than one town, one colony, or one rescue.

Our mission is to ensure that every city in the Texas Panhandle develops a community cat program—so that humane, effective solutions replace neglect, and no community is left without resources.
