What is Plainview Foundation For Rural Health Advancement (PFRHA). We are a Non-Profit clinic located in a small community. We were founded in 1993 where our journey began by our executive director Retta Knox. Retta's position was the school nurse for the school district. Services offered then were strictly for students only. In 2007 those services became available for the Hart Community and surrounding areas. We currently serve 24 counties. Our clinical services include medical, dental and licensed professional counseling as well as tele-med services and immunizations. Our primary funding over the years has been through federal grants. ln recent years due to all the cut backs it has been harder to find federal funding for our clinic.
