For 30 years, Moore County Health Foundation has worked to strengthen healthcare close to home by supporting projects, programs, equipment, and services that improve the health and well-being of Moore County and the surrounding rural Panhandle region.

Through the generosity of individuals, businesses, corporations, and local, regional, and rural foundations, MCHF has helped make significant healthcare advancements possible. Foundation support has helped fund ambulances, nursing home renovations, CT equipment, 3D mammography technology, the Donnie Ballard Nephrology Center, a new patient care wing for Moore County Hospital District, and many other important capital projects and medical equipment needs.

Our work extends beyond bricks and mortar. Moore County Health Foundation collaborates with healthcare organizations, nonprofit partners, educational institutions, and community leaders to address healthcare needs, expand access to services, strengthen the local healthcare workforce, and improve quality of life throughout our rural region.

Today, we are preparing for another important chapter in that legacy: the new Rural Health Clinic. This modern facility represents an exciting investment in the future of rural healthcare—expanding access to care, increasing capacity, creating room for growing services, and bringing multiple healthcare specialties together in one convenient location.

The Rural Health Clinic will help ensure that families throughout Moore County and the surrounding rural Panhandle can continue to receive high-quality healthcare without having to travel long distances for essential services. It is more than a new building; it is an investment in healthier families, stronger communities, and the long-term future of healthcare in our region.
