Emis Colorful Future Foundation

Emi's Colorful Future Foundation is a Texas-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the Texas Scottish Rite for Children. Founded in 2015 and based Amarillo, Texas, the Foundation was born from the personal journey of young Emi Schooler, who received life-changing care at Scottish Rite Hospital after her diagnosis with Juvenile Dermatomyositis in 2013.

Recognizing the profound impact Scottish Rite had on her life and inspired by the hospital's commitment to treat all children regardless of ability to pay, Emi envisioned a way to give back. What started as a personal mission has grown into a vibrant organization that brings together community members, donors, and volunteers united in support of pediatric excellence and compassionate healthcare.

Emi's Color Shoot: Our Premier Event

Emi's Color Shoot is the Foundation's flagship fundraiser—a premier Sporting Clays competition held annually at Cactus Gun Club, just north of Amarillo, Texas. Now in its twelfth year of operation, the event has become a beloved community tradition that combines sport, fellowship, and purpose.

The Event

Designed for all skill levels and ages, Emi's Color Shoot features three professionally designed shooting courses set up by industry leaders including Briley Manufacturing and Linden Target Sports. Shooters enjoy a day of competition in a welcoming, scenic setting while contributing to meaningful charitable work.

Beyond the Sport

Emi's Color Shoot is more than a Sporting Clays competition—it's a celebration of community resilience and gratitude. The event brings together individuals and businesses who recognize the critical importance of Scottish Rite Hospital's work. Participants, sponsors, and volunteers share a common goal: ensuring that exceptional pediatric care continues to transform children's lives.

Community Impact

In its five years, Emi's Color Shoot has grown to include additional community programs:

• Annual Scholarship Program: Awards educational scholarships to current and former Scottish Rite patients, family members of supporters, and dedicated volunteers pursuing higher education

• Direct Hospital Support: Funds advanced treatment and diagnostics, therapeutic programs, and free patient services including the popular Camp Joint Adventure

• Regional Outreach: Serves children and families across the top 26 counties of Texas, ensuring rural and underserved communities have access to world-class pediatric care
