Canyon Housing Program Inc

The Canyon Housing Program aimed at assisting low-to-moderate income homeowners repair and improve their homes. The program focuses on remedying code violations, addressing hazardous situations, and providing adequate weatherization. Eligible homeowners who own and occupy a single-family home within Canyon city limits may qualify for up to $25,000 in no-interest deferred payment loans, which are forgivable if the homeowner remains in the residence for at least five years following rehabilitation. Priority for assistance will be given to households with the greatest need, based on income level, housing condition, and other factors. In January 2026, the program was designated as a 501(c)3 non-profit by the IRS.
