The Wellington Senior Citizens Center was completed in 2023 for seniors 50 years and older who live in Collingsworth County. It is a place where seniors can come together to enjoy a meal together, participate in balance classes, exercise classes, play bridge, discuss current events, hear updates on Medicare and other issues of interest, play games, and participate in fun monthly activities at the center. Maintaining both physical and emotional good health for seniors is one of the goals for WSCC. With the help of a dynamic program director, Dawn Dockter, and our volunteers, the center has accomplished that goal.
