Friends of Texas Panhandle Shelter Pets

Friends of Texas Panhandle Shelter Pets was formed in January of 2020 as a placement and transport rescue. Our mission is to prevent the euthanasia of lost and unwanted pets. To date we have helped over 2500 furry friends with healing and a new start in life. We match dogs and cats from small town shelters in the Texas panhandle with rescues, mostly out of state, and safely transport these sweet souls on donated private flights with our pilot friends in the Pilots n Paws program. We assist the shelter partners here and the rescues receiving the animals by financing part of the medical care the pets need before leaving, as well as with supplies.
